Eagle Eye Companies to Acquire and Rebrand Laurel Eye Clinic with State Support |
In a significant boost to the local economy, Blair County businesses have been awarded over $3 million in low-interest loans through the Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority (PIDA). This funding aims to facilitate business growth and job creation within the region.
Eagle Eye Real Estate LLC, Eagle Eye Vision Center LLC, and Eagle Eye Surgery Center LLC have received a 10-year, $1.5 million loan at a 4.25% interest rate. The funds will be used to acquire a 17,754-square-foot facility located at 176 Vision Drive in Duncansville Borough. This acquisition is part of a broader initiative to purchase and rebrand the Laurel Eye Clinic and Surgery Center under the Eagle Eye name. Additionally, Eagle Eye Real Estate LLC will acquire the property from LEC Altoona LLC. The total project cost is estimated at $4.35 million. As a result, three new full-time positions will be created within three years, and 17 existing jobs will be retained. ([dced.pa.gov]
