Claysburg Kimmel Baseball Updates in Blair County, PA

The Claysburg-Kimmel Bulldogs baseball team is off to an impressive start this season, securing victories in their first three games.

 

On March 19, the Bulldogs dominated Tussey Mountain with an 11-1 win.

 

They continued their strong performance on March 21, defeating Southern Huntingdon County 8-7.

 

Maintaining their momentum, Claysburg-Kimmel edged out the North Star Cougars on March 24 with another 8-7 victory.

 

In the game against North Star, Gavin Treon showcased his versatility by pitching 2.2 innings without allowing any earned runs and contributing offensively with a 3-for-5 performance, including a triple and two RBIs.

 

His consistent hitting streak extends back to last season.

 

Mason Campagna also made significant contributions, reaching base three times, scoring twice, and stealing a base.

 

His recent games have seen a surge in stolen bases.

 

Dustin Slowik added to the team's success with a 2-for-3 performance, driving in three runs.

 

Looking ahead, Claysburg-Kimmel is set to face Williamsburg on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.

 

Meanwhile, the North Star Cougars will take on Moshannon Valley at the same time.
