Cow Patty Bingo Returns to Lakemont Park in 2026 for Miracle League’s 20th Anniversary |
Quirky fundraiser brings laughs, community fun, and crucial support for inclusive baseball in Blair County |
It may sound like an unusual way to raise money, but **Cow Patty Bingo** has become one of the most beloved and successful fundraisers in the region — and it’s back for 2026. The popular event returns to Lakemont Park on **Wednesday, June 3**, helping celebrate the Miracle League of Blair County’s 20th anniversary. This lighthearted fundraiser continues to deliver big results for a cause that matters deeply to many families. ### How It Works “It’s a field of 1,000 squares, and when the cow makes a deposit, that square wins $2,000,” organizers explained. While the concept brings plenty of laughs, the mission is serious. All proceeds support the Miracle League of Blair County, which gives children and adults with mental and physical disabilities the chance to play baseball in a fully accessible environment — complete with adaptive fields, dugouts, scoreboards, and team uniforms. ### A Growing Tradition The event is **free to attend**, turning the evening into a true community celebration. Attendees can enjoy food trucks, live music, and plenty of family-friendly activities while cheering on the cows. - **Festivities begin:** 5:00 p.m. Squares are available for **$5 or $10** each. Organizers are encouraging everyone in the community to come out, have fun, and support this meaningful cause. For more information or to purchase squares in advance, contact organizers at **814-207-5805** or email **gary.mcgovern@thrivent.com**. --- This fun, feel-good event proves that sometimes the most memorable fundraisers are also the most effective. Mark your calendar and join the herd for a great night supporting the Miracle League! |
