Retired Nurse Triumphs at Pennsylvania Farm Show's Jam/Jelly Bar Contest

Terri Stewart, a retired nurse from Altoona, clinched first place in the Jam/Jelly Bar Contest at the 110th Pennsylvania Farm Show.

 

Her pineapple pecan coconut bars stood out among 21 entries, earning her a $200 prize and a prestigious ribbon.

 

Stewart expressed her excitement, stating, "It's an honor to win."

 

The competition, held on January 11, 2026, in the Family Living Area of the Farm Show Complex, showcased the baking talents of Pennsylvanians.

 

Participants were required to submit eight 2x2-inch bar cookies featuring jelly, jam, or preserves as a key ingredient.
